CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning programme. The Aim to forge a broad, general, and inclusive fitness. The Prescription is ‘’Constantly Varied High-Intensity, Functional movement’’. It is a sport, harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition and fun of sport. It is evidence based.

CrossFit increases work capacity across broad time and modal domains. It is designed to improve your General Physical Skills. CrossFit will increase your ability to move large loads over long distances and to do so quickly! Whether you are totally new to fitness or a professional athlete, young or old, CrossFit is for you!

CrossFit is about teaching people how to move. It’s not just about muscle development; it’s about developing the movement patterns that are essential to your wellbeing.

The ability to minimise the time cycle of a repeated movement

The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement

Agility
The ability to minimise transition time from one movement pattern to another

Balance
The ability to control the placement of the body’s centre of gravity in relation to its support base

Accuracy
The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity
